During the inspection, Rajesh Gupta inquired from the passengers about the fare being charged and also held a meeting with the public and their elected representatives to sort out the issues regarding the transport in their area. He assured the public that strict action as per the norms of the Motor Vehicles Act shall be initiated against the offenders.
During the extensive checking, Rajesh Gupta challaned 12 Vehicles and an amount of Rs.8000 was compounded on the spot for violating COVID SOPs and Rd.11000 for other violations of traffic rules.
ARTO also sensitised the drivers about Motor vehicle act norms and urged upon them to follow all the traffic rules to ensure their safety as well as the safety of the others.
