During the inspection, the DC reviewed the implementation of orders issued by the District Disaster Management Authority, Ramban for passenger vehicles, shops and other business establishments.
The DC visited the Bus stand and adjoining market and interacted with traders and transporters. He asked them to adhere to all guidelines issued by the Administration including plying of passenger vehicles at 50% of authorized seating capacity, besides observance of the Covid protocols in business establishments.
The DC directed the ARTO to take strict action against transporters for overcharging, violating of MV Act rules and orders issued by the DDMA. He asked the transport unions to implement all orders and preventative measures issued by the Authorities from time-to-time to contain the spread of deadly coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the enforcement teams also realized fines from people for violating orders like roaming without face masks and not maintaining social distance. They impressed upon people to wear masks, wash hands, maintain social distance and take vaccine doses.
