The committee met for two consecutive days to scrutinize the applications filed online under J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) being implemented by J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board.
After detailed scrutiny of the 159 applications, the committee approved 61, deferred 96 and rejected 2 applications.
District Officer KVIB Kathua, Harvinder Singh, representative of DIC Kathua, representative of LDM SBI, Cluster Head J&K Bank, Regional Manager J&K Grameen bank and Superintendent ITI were also present in the meeting.
