29 July Mandi Poonch.: A team of National Conference leaders today visited the far-flung Area area of Mandi Poonch district and held a meeting with villagers to get first-hand information about their problems.
The team was headed by Former MLA Poonch, Provincial President of Youth NC, Ajaz Jan.
During their visit, NC leaders were called upon by Sarpanches, Panches, Prominent citizens of the 3 panchayats of Arai who put forth several problems and demanded that work on road Upper Arai Malkan panchayat and Arai pyt. Peeran to Jabbi Toti.
During the last tenure of National Conference alliance government the pyt. Ghar were constructed in which land donors were appointed as Mali cum Chokidar and the then govt named the land after itself but the land donors had not given any benefit yet.
Jan, who visited flood-affected parts of Mandi Poonch, asked farmers to stay alert in view of Meteorological Department’s prediction of heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of Jammu and kashmir in next three to four days.
