A total 103 beneficiaries were given wheelchairs, tricycles, hearing aids, artificial limbs, walking sticks and other assistive devices.
District Development Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta, in presence of Director Social Welfare, Smita Sethi distributed the devices.
Special invitees, District Development Council Chairman Keshav Dutt Sharma, Vice Chairman DDC Balwan Singh, DDC members Shilpa Dubey, Sudarshan Singh and Avtar Singh were also present.
District social welfare officer, Deep Kumar, said that the PwDs of Vijaypur block were covered in the first phase, while other blocks of Ramgarh, Rajpura will be covered in second and third phases respectively on 26th July and 27th July.
