The campaign was launched by the Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ in commemoration of the 75 years of celebration of India’s independence.
Registrar, Harbans Lal Sharma; Sub Registrar, Dhirender Sharma; SDM Ramsoo, Dil Mir; senior lawyers from Bar Association Ramban, besides other participants attended the function.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the benefits of NGDRS in reducing land disputes, checking fraudulent transactions, SMS and email enabled alerts related to transactions on property and external system integrations. He said the digital system will improve ranking in Ease of Doing Business.
Registrar, Ramban, in his address, described ULPIN as a landmark intervention which will ensure uniqueness in all transactions and keep the land records always up-to-date and expedite delivery of citizen services of land records through a single window, besides sharing of land records data across departments, financial institutions and all stakeholders.
