Prof Kuldeep Singh Koushal was the Chief Guest and Namrita Dogra, Joint Director Information, Jammu, was guest of Honour. Parul Khajuria, Cultural Officer, Jammu and Dr Davinder Kour HOD Department of Education were the Coordinator of the online event.
Prof. Bhavana Jamwal, Prof. Sukhdeep Singh and Prof. Shujaut Khan acted as the judges. In all, 10 students participated in the symposium. They were very thankful to the college as well as the cultural wing of DIPR giving them an opportunity to speak on the important issue.
Abhinandan Sharma got 1st position, Komal Sharma got 2nd and 3rd position was bagged by Aditi Jasrotia. Consolation prizes were also given to Vishali Manash and Aru Jamwal.
The welcome speech was given by Dr Davinder Kour and the proceedings were conducted by Suresh Sharma, Senior Cultural Assistant.
A variety musical programme featuring songs & jingles was presented by artists of Cultural wing- Mohinder Panchairvi, Balbir Singh and Banti shah on the topic.
The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of DIPR, Cultural Wing towards spreading awareness programmes about the covid appropriate behavior amid the pandemic.
Earlier, the program started with Saraswati Vandana by Vanshika, Sharma, Kiran Kumari and Ranju Jasrotia.
