POONCH, JULY 27: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today reviewed the power supply scenario in the district and directed the concerned officials to ensure scheduled power supply to the consumers.
During the meeting, various issues were discussed, including, status of Qazi Morha receiving station, BG and Mendhar receiving station, Kanuyian receiving station and status of power supply in different parts of the district.
The meeting was attended by Executive Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers and senior officials of the department.
Setting deadlines for different projects, the Deputy Commissioner directed to complete work of ongoing Receiving Station of Qazi Morha, Kanuyian by August 25, Harimahrote Receiving Station by October 15 and
BG and Mendhar Receiving Stations by August 10, 2021. He further asked for the timeline argumentation of the transformers.
Directions were issued to Executive Engineers to monitor the progress on receiving stations and submit the report to his office and also maintain consumer Complaint Dairy on a daily basis.
The DC strictly directed the executive engineers to inspect their respective grid station at odd hours and check the duty roster and work. The officials also updated the chair about the status of receiving stations being constructed in the district.
The DC directed the officials that power supply should be ensured strictly as per schedule. He also directed the executive engineers to remove all illegal connections in the district.
