While interacting with the delegation, the DC listened to their issues regarding water, electricity, sanitation, check on quality and rates of essential items. He assured full support to the administration for the smooth celebration of the Eid-ul-Adha. The DC also directed the concerned departments to keep adequate availability of essential commodities, uninterrupted power and water supply on the festive days.
The delegation was sensitized about the guidelines that need to be followed in the two day Eid festival. They were directed to ensure that their message reaches the entire community and no gathering takes place in mosques.
They were briefed to motivate the followers through announcements to follow the government's instructions on COVID protocols and to celebrate Eid from homes only.
