The DC said that the youth livelihood programme 'Mumkin' subsidized small commercial vehicles are being provided to young beneficiaries which aims to move towards creation of a better socio-economic ecosystem, self-employment opportunities for the youth in the Jammu and Kashmir.
It is pertinent to mention that under Mumkin Scheme an unemployed youth can avail loan facility for purchase of small commercial vehicle with 10% government subsidy, 10 % rebate by the dealer and remaining loan at subsidized interest rate.
Keys were handed over to 12 beneficiaries in first phase of this scheme involving government subsidy of Rs.8.79 lakh and loan amount of Rs.70.32 lakh through various branches of J&K Bank.
