SAMBA, AUGUST 13: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta today chaired a meeting of Youth Club members and Block Development Officers to discuss the celebration of Independence Day by the Youth Clubs.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Suram Chand Sharma; Block Development Officers of all 9 blocks and Youth Club members attended the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that 156 Youth Clubs have been constituted and the National Flag shall be hoisted at all the buildings identified for Youth Clubs in the district. "With participation of all the youth clubs in the Independence Day celebrations a new foundation for inclusive growth shall be laid across the District" said the DC Samba.
She informed that all the necessary arrangements have been put in place including face-lifting and renovation of Youth Club buildings, while Block Development officers have been asked to motivate maximum people for participation in the National Flag hoisting events. "The concerned officer shall ensure the flag is hoisted in accordance with the flag code and all the necessary arrangements are also completed before August 15" the DC directed.
