District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYS&SO) Shopian, Gurmukh Singh Dutta was the Chief Guest and Showkat Ahmed Khan, District Information Officer and Nisar Ahmed on behalf of District Development Council were Guest of Honour on the occasion.
The Padh Yatra/Marathon was flagged off by DYS&SO Shopian, Principal HSS Kaprin and ZPEO Vehil in which 130 Students from different educational institutions participated.
In concluding address, Ab Majid Rather (ZPEO Vehil) thanked the guests and participants for their active participation to make the programme successful.
He elaborated on the future programmes of the dept. and advised the students to keep themselves ready for the future departmental assignments.
All the guests and participants hailed the efforts of the dept. and thanked the organizers for a successful programme.
Besides other guests Principal HSS Kaprin, Gayas-U-Din; Riyaz Ahmad Wachkoo (Activity Incharge DYSSO Shopian), Farooq Ahmad Mir (Incharge Accounts DYSSO Shopian), senior citizens and officials of the department were present.
