DC hosts interactive session with field staff deployed for Tribal Survey

UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 07:  After the culmination of field work of nomadic Tribal survey 2021,  the Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur  Indu Kanwal Chib today held an interactive  experience sharing  session with the field staff here at Conference Hall DC Office Complex.

  During the interactive session, the field staff shared their experience regarding the nomadic tribal survey 2021.

The staff informed that they faced many difficulties in reaching their destinations and collected the data of the nomadic population by traveling 12 hrs on foot in many cases. “The nomadic population is living in sparsely located dhoks and behaks in the upper reaches  and lacks the amenities but they extended full cooperation to the visiting teams.

A PowerPoint presentation was given by DIO and CPO briefing the fine details of the survey.

The DC congratulated and appreciated the efforts of field staff for their collective work and completing the nomadic tribal survey in a record time that too in challenging conditions. She extended best wishes to all for future endeavours.

The Deputy Commissioner placed on record the meticulous survey planning done by Chief Planning Officer, Rajeev Bhushan and hard work put in by DSEO Noor Ud Din, and creative presentation by  DIO NIC, Anil Sharma and logistic support of ACP and all Tehsidars.

She appreciated District Information Officer,  Ateeksha Sethi and the information team for the wonderful capturing of scenic places in highland pastures. The coordinated survey work done in Udhampur has been appreciated at all quarters, she added
