Dy DEO reviews working of Electoral Registration Office, availability of AMF in polling stations at Banihal

RAMBAN, AUGUST 10:  On the directions of the District Election Officer, Mussarat Islam, a team of officers and officials of Election Department headed by   Deputy District Election Office, Lal Chand, today visited AC- 52 Banihal.

  Election Naib Tehsildars Hasham Din and Mohan Lal and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.

The team visited the office of the Electoral Registration Office and Polling Stations at   GHS Ramsoo PS No 75, Government UPS Kralchihal and Chamalwas.

The team also interacted with the Booth Level Officers (BLO) and enquired about the availability of Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF), besides registration of new eligible left out voters, signage of Polling Stations, Physical Check of building of polling stations and redress of complaints of voters relating to EPIC and coverage of area under Polling stations.

The team asked for early redress of issues with regard to registration of new eligible voters and issuance of EPIC to them.
