Former minister Yashpal Kundal hoisted the tricolor at his residence in Vijaypur

VIJAYPUR: 75th Independence Day was celebrated with gaiety in Samba district. Flag hoisting was done at government offices and educational institutions as per the scheduled time on Sunday morning. After this, following the social distance, the national anthem was played. Everyone was excited to salute the tricolor. Gandhi Global Family and Panther Party organized the Independence Day program together. In which Jhang Bahadur, a member of Gandhi Global Family was also present. Former state minister Yashpal Kundal hoisted the tricolor on the occasion of 75th Independence Day. 

Yashpal Kundal congratulated the people of Samba on their Independence Day. Yashpal said in his address during this that if we have to keep India and India's independence intact, then we have to present India as a superpower. Kundal said that on 15 August 1947, India got freedom from the slavery of the British. In the memory of this day, every year 15 August is celebrated as Independence Day in India. This day reminds us of the sacrifice, penance and sacrifice of hundreds of great freedom fighters including Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad. On this occasion, kids also recited programs and poems related to patriotism. Which was later honored  by Kundal with a gift. Kundal wished everyone a Happy Independence Day. On this occasion, Panther Party's district president Rajeshwar Singh, senior NC leader Saudagar Mal and a large number of people were present.
