It was decided that District level function will be held at Government Higher Secondary School, Ramban where the National Flag will be unfurled by the chief guest at 8.55 AM followed by March Past by the contingents of CRPF, JKP, JKAP, Army band etc apart from cultural items.
He also asked all district heads to ensure presence of their subordinate officers and officials at the full dress rehearsal on August 13 and Independence Day function.
He also reviewed arrangements made by the different departments to make the national function a grand success.
It was revealed that in view of Covid-19 pandemic, the I-Day celebration will be celebrated in a limited way amid strict adherence to Covid protocols.
He directed all the officers to complete all arrangements pertaining to their respective departments well before full dress rehearsal.
