JAMMU OCTOBER 31: Directorate of School Education Jammu in collaboration with Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF) completed 4-day virtual training of first batch of 71 Pre-primary teachers on ECCE in context of NEP 2020.
This workshop forms a part of the intense engagement program through Omni Channel Approach followed by Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF), which will continue over a period of one year.
To take the initiative further, a Live Action Project (LAP) on enrolment drive and creating Audio/video content and continuous engagement with these trained teachers through Professional Learning Community, One-to-one support, etc. is to be launched soon.
Theme based Approach of Learning, Story based teaching and Play-way Approach in ECCE were the key sessions of the workshop. Resource persons of KEF facilitated these sessions.
Jaswinder Kour, coordinator Pre-primary Education, Jammu division, Dr. Sarita Sharma, and other District Resource group members from different districts also joined as ECCE experts to support effective delivery of training.
The overall objective of this workshop was to build conceptual clarity of teachers on ECCE and to support them in effective classroom delivery while working with pre-primary children.
Teachers shared positive feedback and appreciated DSEJ & KEF for organizing this workshop.
