Provincial President Jammu Province OBC Cell Mr Abdul Gani Teli was the Chief Guest.
The workers highlighted day today demands and sought readdressal of their problems. The main issue was stand still developmental activities in Azadnagar area. The workers also apprised Provincial President that the UT administration is ignoring their issues and people are suffering in their respective areas without developmental activities.
While addressing the meeting Mr Abdul Gani Teli congratulated newly nominated team of OBC cell District Jammu Urban and said that National Conference is committed to uplift economically, socially & backward classes of J&K. In this connection he informed workers that their claims have been reorganized by Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Vice President J&K National Conference and some measures were taken over come to help the OBC class. But due to unavoidable circumstances these issues could not be completely taken care of.
Mr Teli favored for sympathetic consideration by the govt. streamlining the process of issuing category certificates, making it one –time and raising the slab criteria of creamy layer.
