SAMBA, NOVEMBER 01: District Administration Samba today carried out market checking drive in the main market and imposed penalties for violation of norms and Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
On the direction of Deputy Commissioner Anuradha Gupta, Naib Tehsildar Sodagar Mall, TSO Ghagwal Sahil Sharma, Sub inspector Nanak Chand with police party & Municipality Inspector Khilaf Warzi team conducted the market checking and recovered Rs 6500 fine from the violators.
"Shops, Dhabbas, sweet shops, commercial Buses etc were checked and awareness on covid SOPs, other norms were disseminated" said a revenue officer. Fine was imposed on the erring traders and they were directed to display Rate list, maintain hygienic conditions and follow Covid appropriate behavior.
