Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, DDC Councillor, Rakesh Thakur, ACD, Zameer Ahmed Rishu , BDO Ramban Vishal Atri and several other officers of district administration besides PRIs and general public attended the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner directed the BDOs to ensure completion of PMAY houses before snowfall, while the AD, FCS&PD was asked to display the lists of BPL beneficiaries at all Panchayats to rectify the errors.
The DC also exhorted upon PRIs to keenly monitor all developmental works being executed in their respective areas to ensure quality and timely completion.
While highlighting the various beneficiary, youth and women oriented schemes, the DC asked the Sarpanches to encourage the women folk to form Self Help Groups and avail benefits and incentives offered under government schemes.
He also informed the participants about the the tendering process of development works sanctioned under Area Development Funds of DDC, BDC and Panchayats, besides JJM, PMGSY and other sectors. He said that the Administration has focused on completion and up-gradation of road projects across the district.
The DC asked the officers to improve service delivery system and address public grievances on spot especially highlighted during Block Divas across the district.
Responding to the issue of construction of Panchayat Ghars in various Panchayats, ACD informed that RDD has submitted a detailed plan to Director RDD for approval.
