The Department also sensitized them about the importance of following Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
As per the District Nodal Officer AYUSH, Dr. Sanjay Chadha, over 400 immunity boosting kits of 6 Medicines were distributed among people in the wake of surge in Covid cases across the district.
While making people aware, the Medical Officers and paramedical staff gave a detailed briefing on the importance of strong immunity for fighting against COVID-19.
They also informed about the initiatives and measures taken by the ISM, AYUSH to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. The people were urged to wear face masks, wash hands regularly and maintain physical distance.
The Doctors also urged people to get their children in the 15-17 years age group vaccine dose in their nearest Covid Vaccination Centres which is the only option to prevent them from deadly infection.
