Awareness lectures and other activities on Cyber Safety and measures of safeguard were discussed keeping in view the current digital scenario.
Students were made aware about the negative as well as positive aspects of internet and cyber world.
The program was organised under the supervision of Chief Education Officer, Arvin Kumar Koul, through online as well as offline mode.
Speaking on the occasion, Koul said that cyber crime even though is comparatively a new phenomenon, but the repercussions are as severe as for any other crime and in certain cases more than what we may perceive. Specifically the younger generation needs to be aware of the dangers it presents and should conscious about practicing cyber hygiene, he added.
Congratulating the organising committee, the CEO said that every student deserves to be made aware about the functions and dysfunctions of internet and cyber world so that he or she can make an informed choice.
