J&K Taekwondo Association Celebrated 73rd Republic Day

Jammu:73rd Republic day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by J&K Taekwondo Association along with the member and senior player's of Taekwondo at AITA   Channi Himmat Jammu

The Indian tricolor flag was hoisted by Shri D.N Pangotra president J&K Taekwondo  Association and also distributed sweets among the players and their parents who were attending the 73rd Republic day ceremony .

On the very auspicious day of republic day, President  District Bandipora Taekwondo Association Shri Faisal Ali Dar has been conferred with Padma Shri Award (Highest Civilian Award) for his contribution to the sports and promotion of Martial Arts in the Valley.

One of the finest and National Medalists of Taekwondo Shri .Tashi Tundup of Ladakh has also been conferred with the 2nd State Award today on the day of republic day celebration at Ladakh.He represented J&K in National Level and World University championships.

While Shri D.N Pangotra  President J&K Taekwondo Association speaking on the occasion  congratulated both  the Taekwondo  family members  for achieving such a great feat in sports and brought laurels for the state .

Tashi Tundup was facilitated by the J&K Taekwondo Association and by his Coach Shri Atul Pangotra( International Coach and Referee) at AITA Jammu.

On this occasion Dr .S.M Bali Sr.Vice  President  J&K  Taekwondo Association  / Taekwondo  India   and Shri Nissar Hussain  Vice President  congratulated both the Players for their achievement in Taekwondo Sports  and become the role model for others young talent of J&K

Treasurer Shri Zaheer Abass Khan and World Silver Medalists Para Player Chandeep Singh and other players were also present on this occasion.
