“Advises teachers to focus on activity based education”

SRINAGAR:   Principal Secretary to Government School Education Department J&K, Shri B.K Singh today advised the students to do their best and don’t get disheartened in case of failure.

He appreciated the students who have shown their better results in the recently declared results of class 12^th of Kashmir Division for their tireless efforts and hard work during the pandemic. He advised the teachers to focus on activity based education.

Shri B.K Singh asked the students to be thankful to their parents who in these difficult times helped them with all the possible accessories they could afford.

As Chief Guest Shri B.K Singh was addressing the students, teachers during a function organised in connection with the Felicitation of Toppers of Government Schools Class 12th 2021-2022 of District Srinagar.

The felicitation ceremony was organized by Chief Education Office Srinagar at S.P Model Higher Secondary School Srinagar.

Director School Education Kashmir Dr Tasaduq Hussain was Guest of Honour on the occasion who in his address appreciated the students for their performance and encouraged them for their efforts.

Chief Education Officer Srinagar, Manzoor Ahmed Kumar presented vote of thanks and congratulated the students for their achievements. He assured Principal Secretary and Director School Education Kashmir that all out efforts will be put in the opening of schools post Covid from 28^th February following the CAB.

The programme was coordinated by Deputy Chief Education Officer Srinagar Anjum Raja.

The programme was attended by all the principals of Higher Secondary Schools and ZEOs of district Srinagar.

On the occasion about 22 students of various Government Higher Secondary Schools of District Srinagar were felicitated.

In the Science stream following students were facilitated -

Simrah Hafeiz GHSS Soura, Faiza Zahoor GGHSS Rajbagh,Hadiya Rashid GGHSS Kothibagh,Maleeha Javid GGHSS Soura,Anjum Bilal GGHSS Amirakadal,Haaris Nazir S.P Higher Secondary School,Tooba Naseer GGHSS Amirakadal were felicitated.

In the Arts stream:  Adeebah Muzamil GGHSS Kothibagh, Afeefah Bashir GGHSS Kothibagh, Ridda Qadir GGHSS Soura,Madiha GGHSS Kothibagh,Muskan Shakeel GGHSS Kothibagh were felicitated.

In the Commerce stream: Rutba Bashir of GGHSS Amirakadal,Bareen Altaf of GGHSS Nawakadal,Numan Javid MPML,Idea Ayoub GGHSS Amirakadal,Rounaq Jan GGHSS Amira Kadal were felicitated.

In the Home Science stream Sahila Nabi, Afreen Manzoor,Bashel Manzoor,Aiman Shafi ,Shafia Farooq of GGHSS Kothibagh were felicitated.

Later Shri B.K Singh, Dr Tasaduq Hussain, Manzoor Ahmed Kumar, Anjum Raja and others from the School Education Department interacted with the NCC volunteers.
