GDC Kathua felicitates RDC attendee NCC cadets

KATHUA, FEBRUARY 10: Government Degree College Kathua today felicitated its 9 NCC cadets, who represented UT of Jammu and Kashmir at Republic Day celebrations held at New Delhi.

The College Principal Prof. Raj Kiran felicitated the cadets at a ceremony held here on the College Campus.

The NCC cadets participated in various competitions in RDC and gave their excellent performance.  SUO Sameer Khan of 4 J&K Bn got selected for Rajpath and PM Rally, JUO Jarnish Bandral of 4 J&K Bn participated in Rajpath and PM Rally and JUO Kanav of 4 J&K Bn also participated in PM Rally. From 2 J&K Girls Bn of GDC Kathua, JUO Pravleen Kour got selected for cultural programmes and JUO Shakshi Andotra got selected for Guard of Honour. From 1st J&K Naval Wing of GDC Kathua, SCC Abhishek Rana marched on Rajpath and PM Rally, SCC Aman Sharma marched in PM Rally, CC Kamal Singh participated in Guard of Honour and CC Sunaina also marched in PM Rally.

Addressing the NCC cadets, the Principal GDC Kathua appreciated their extraordinary performance and exhorted the NCC cadets to work with dedication and sincerity.

HOD Chemistry, Prof Rakesh Singh and Dr. Pankaj Gupta also graced the occasion with their presence. The principal congratulated the NCC Officers Dr. Rachna Devi, Dr. Verinder Singh and Dr. Amrik Singh for their hard work and dedication due to which NCC cadets registered such big achievements at National Level.
