Jammu, 10 April: YNC Provincial President Jammu Ajaz Jan on Sunday welcomed Apni Party Trade Union leaders Dalbir Singh and Farooq Chowan from Jammu and Samba into JKNC.
Welcoming the new entrant into the party fold, Ajaz Jan hoped that the new entrants will strengthen the party’s efforts for safeguarding the vital interests of Jammu and Kashmir.
"It is the youth that are the creators of J&K’s destiny in the coming decades and years. I heartily welcome Dalbir Singh and Farooq Chowan in our fold. It goes without saying that NC’s ideology has always resonated with the youth of Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
Among others Sr V President YNC Jammu, Gourav Kapoor, Zonal President Jammu Sandeep Singh , District President Jammu Tajinder Singh, Provincial Secretary Nitish Goswami, Zameer Qureshi , District Secretary Jammu Sahil Kirni, President MC Surankot Mumtaz Bajar, Shadi Khan Zonal Vice president Rajouri Poonch, Jatinder Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
While welcoming Dilbir Singh and Farooq Chowan into the party fold, Jan said that the doors of the party are open for all those who want to contribute towards peace, progress and development in J&K.
Speaking on the occasion Dilbir Singh and Farooq Chowan said that there is no higher calling than serving people and that NC is the only platform which has assiduously worked for all the sections of society in Jammu and Kashmir. The duo vowed to work within the inclusive framework of the party and make the party stronger at the grass root level across Jammu province.
