The visit was coordinated by Head, Department of English Dr. Seema Malpotra and Teacher-in-charge Prof. Shivani Kotwal who accompanied the students during the visit.
The students got an opportunity to interact with the employees and to understand the functioning of the unit at different levels of the media house. They were detailed about the whole process starting from reporting, editing and all elements required for final broadcast.
Owner of the Take One JK Media Kathua, Ravinder Singh Slathia, shared his experiences with the students and Uttiran (Reporter) also briefed and guided the students about career prospects in the media field.
The visit was quite successful as participating students expressed their joy as this has helped them to know about the Media house working which they termed as contributors in reshaping their future of learning.
