KISHTWAR, JUNE 06: On the direction of District Development Commissioner Ashok Sharma and under the overall supervision of Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Kishtwar Dr Sanjay Kumar Sen, an awareness cum Deworming camp was organised here at Panchayat Ghan of Sarthal.

The programme was managed under the close guidance of  Dr. Mukesh (VAS) along with Bashir Ahmed SVP Sarthal wherein the farmers were provided with free deworming medicines.

Besides, the farmers were made aware of the departmental schemes and the scientific methods of dairy farming and animal husbandry practices.

The programme was attended by PRI members and scores of farmers of surrounding Panchayats.

The local people demanded for holding more such programmes for increasing and strengthening the income of the farmers from Animal Husbandry practices.
