BDC Chairperson Lalita Devi; DDC Councilor Tahir Masood, DPO Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal; BDO Palmar Saima Ramzan; District Managers, CSC Suman Kumar and Parveaz Ahmed; District Coordinator Shagufta Malik; local PRIs, staff of RDD besides other concerned were also present on the occasion.
This is the second Model Common Service Centre established in the district after the first one was established at Panchayat Ghar Bhagna A. The Centre has been equipped with latest facilities including laptops, desktops, printers including PVC and internet connection to provide a number of digital services to the general public.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Kishtwar said that with the establishment of the Model Centre the locals can avail almost all digital services including PAN card, e-SHRAM, Aadhar, Golden cards under Ayushmaan Bharat, Passport, Voter ID services, cash withdrawal and cash deposits, insurance schemes and other government sponsored schemes.
He asked the CSC functionaries to maintain the centre well and aware the people about the digital services they can avail here.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also listened to the grievances of PRIs present on the occasion and assured them that the same will be redressed promptly.
He informed the locals that awareness camps under SAMPAN scheme have been launched by District Administration which aims at making aware the common masses about agriculture and allied sector schemes in each block in an integrated mode.
He urged the locals and farmers to take part in these camps to avail the schemes meant for them and redouble their income.
