The students from Eco clubs of Govt Middle School Rangrezpora Kulgam and Simnaniya Islamia High School Kulgam also participated in the event and cleanliness drive in nearby stream and park to spread message among the masses regarding conservation of water bodies and public places to make them polythene free .
Muneeb Ahmad, President Municipal Council Kulgam highlighted the importance of cleanliness of surroundings.
District Officer PCC Kulgam, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai highlighted the importance of the event and added that such events will continue in future for awareness among common people.
