On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, Gulzar Ahmad distributed the prosthetic aids among the beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC said that these devices will aid specially abled people to live a normal life. He appealed to people to register themselves with the department in case they are in need of such aides.
He further directed the department to ensure that awareness regarding the scheme is carried out in different parts of the district.
1 wheel chair, 1 walker crutch and 6 hearing aids were distributed among the beneficiaries on the occasion.
