Speaking on the occasion, Principal, Prof. Hans Raj expressed his concern about the increasing cyber crimes in the society. He said that in the digital age our virtual identities are essential elements of everyday life and we are a bundle of identifiers in multiple computer databases owned by governments and corporations. Cyber crime highlights the centrality of networked computers in our lives as well as the fragility of such seemingly solid facts as individual identity. He stressed upon taking the safety measures to either avoid or combat it.
Resource person Manoj Gupta discussed various common cyber crimes and mentioned preventive tips to avert cyber frauds. He emphasised on not sharing Bank Account Number, Aadhar No. etc in contact list. He mentioned social media related frauds and shared tips on cyber security.
