DODA, JULY 07; The Enforcement Wing of Food and Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs headed by Assistant Director Rahul Sharma along with officials from Police, Municipalities, FSO and Legal Metrology department conducted an intensified joint inspection of various markets across the district.
The joint inspection was conducted to check the rates of various essential commodities especially chicken, mutton, milk and milk products, besides maintenance of hygiene and physical distance was strongly ensured. The team also visited the spot where sacrificial animals have been kept for trading. All the stakeholders were sensitised about the prescribed rates in vogue fixed by the district administration and strict instructions were passed to follow the guidelines in letter and spirit.
Fine was released from erring shopkeepers and adherence to sale and distribution protocol was enjoined upon.
