On the day, various events on the subject of population stabilisation were conducted by the District Health Society under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer, Dr Kamal Zadoo.
During the events, doctors and other speakers highlighted the significance of population control besides sensitising the participants about birth control measures and medical treatments.
