J&K UT Youth Basketball Championship Concludes

 Jammu Dec 6 : J&K UT Youth Basketball Championship was held at MA Stadium on the 5th and 6th of December 2022. Various teams, both Boys and Girls participated in the championship with players from different districts of J& K .

Among the girls the Championship was won by M A Stadium “A”   , M A Stadium “B” Was placed first runner up and the team from Jodhamal Public School won the Second Runner-up and in the Boys STC Warriors won the Gold where as Sainik School Nagrota won the Silver and Bronze was won by Point Guards Udhampur.

Rajinder Sharma Mayor Jammu was the Chief Guest for the day. He congratulated all the participating teams and assured the teams that he would help in improving the infrastructure for Basketball especially in the rural sector to have more participation from the rural areas also. He congratulated all the people who helped in making this championship a grand success. Gurpreet Handa and Ashiq Bukhari were the Guests of Honour. Dr Vikram Handa , Principal Tiny Tots Hr Sec School , Ashok Singh Jamwal Former Manager J and K Bank were among the notable dignitaries present. Harjinder Singh STC Chief Coach, Sushma Jamwal,  Chief Coach JK Sports Council, Ranbir Singh Coach from youth Services and Sports, Shubham Sharma Coach IIT Jammu, Rohan Kundal , Kunal were among others who coached the teams and acted as officials during the Championship.
