On the occasion, DDC Member Hiranagar Abhinandan Sharma, Assistant Director, Employment & Counseling Centre, Kathua Naresh Kumar, representatives of Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors besides beneficiaries of MUMKIN scheme were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said the object of the launching Mission Youth initiative in Jammu and Kashmir was to provide opportunities to the youth to become self-reliant. He said the youth should come forward to avail this platform for becoming self-sufficient.
Assistant Director, Employment & Counseling Centre, Naresh Kumar informed that under the MUMKIN scheme a total of 112 beneficiaries have been provided Commercial vehicles in the district during the current year. He further informed that so far a total of 226 cases are sponsored under the MUMKIN scheme of Mission Youth in the district.
