BANDIPORA, JANUARY 18: Animal Husbandry Department (AHD) Bandipora on Wednesday organised a Mega Awareness camp under Information Dissemination and Promotional Activities programme at Town Hall, Bandipora.
The programme was chaired by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Bandipora, Dr Gh Ahmad Lone and was attended by the Block Veterinary Officer Bandipora, Veterinary Assistant Surgeons of the Block Bandipora along with their staff and the progressive dairy farmers.
On the occasion Block Veterinary Officer, Dr Mohammad Ramzan Chopan detailed the importance of the existing departmental schemes and their process of execution and implementation at the ground level.
The farmers were also introduced to the Holistic Agricultural Development programme. Some dairy farmers also shared their success stories with the rest of the gathering inspiring them to invest in the Dairy and Poultry sectors.
CAHO Bandipora invited the people of the district to be part of the Dairy and Poultry fraternity of Bandipora who are changing the future of these industries in the district.
