REASI JANUARY 11: Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Babila Rakwal today visited Panchayat Ghar Garan in Block Katra and listened to scores of public issues of local importance and redressed the genuine grievances of the residents of the area.
During weekly Block Diwas, PRIs and general public of the area put forth their issues regarding construction of Panchayat Ghar road, requirement of electric poles, completion of Culvert Work, water Connectivity through PHE department, completion of Panchayat Ghar, construction of houses under PMAY scheme, start of work under MGNREGA, restoration of damaged local Canal (Khul) in the Chamyara Bhangal area, start of KRCL work sanctioned, posting of Economics Teacher in GHSS Aghar Jitto and KotliBagha and Kendra Vidyala for Panchayat Garan.
The DC, after listening to the grievances, gave necessary directions to concerned officers to start the pending works and their completion in a time bound manner.
The PRIs as well as the general public hailed the district administration for holding awareness camps for issuing inheritance mutation and organising Block Diwas camp, here in Garn.
Further, the local Sarpanch presented a charter of works for developing the Panchayats on modern lines.
The DC Reasi, while addressing the gathering, asked the locals to make Voter ID Card in time. She highlighted the need to lay special focus on proper implementation of Central Sponsored Schemes and UT Capex budget works for larger benefit of the general public so that it can reach to end users in a more transparent and efficient manner.
