SAMBA, JANUARY 11: As a part of Public Outreach programme of JK Government, District Administration Samba today organised weekly Block Diwas here at block Ghagwal in Panchayat Harsath.
Deputy Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta, while participating in the Block Diwas at Panchayat of tehsil Ghagwal, addressed several issues and demands of the locals.
The BDC Chairman Ghagwal, along with Sarpanches and panches, put forth developmental demands during the block.
Issues of rural roads, lane drain work, playground, indoor stadium, Ration depot etc were raised on the occasion. The DC gave a patient hearing to each issue and assured early resolution.
The DC laid emphasis on improving the public services delivery, including issuance of revenue certificates, age certificates, Ration Cards, transport department related services, besides other department related and the pendency to be cleared during block Diwas. She exhorted public services through online portals so that effective and transparent governance is achieved.
The DC also inspected Amrit Sarovar pond in Harsath Panchayat and directed it to maintain the sanctity of the water and keep close check on the encroachment of the state land.
Among others Block Development Council Chairman, Vijay Tagotra, Assistant Commissioner Development, Sidharath Dhiman, Sub Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal Ramkesh, CMO, Dr. Vidhi, BDO Sheetal besides other district and sectoral officers were also present.
