RAJOURI, JANUARY 14: The Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, conducted a comprehensive review of the Revenue Department today in a meeting with concerned officers. The meeting focused on the digitization of cadestrial maps, online revenue services provided to the public, digitization of land records, anti-encroachment drives, and other revenue-related matters. The Deputy Commissioner sought an update on the progress of these initiatives.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner urged the officers to work with dedication and zeal to provide the best services to the public and alleviate their hardships. He also emphasized the importance of prompt disposal of online applications and regular meetings to discuss issues and progress under the online services.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the government's priorities such as the digitization of Jamabandies, efficient delivery of online revenue services, and other public-friendly initiatives aimed at bringing transparency and accountability to the department. He also directed the revenue officers to educate the public about the online services and encourage them to utilize these resources. Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Imran Rashid Kataria, and other concerned revenue officers were in attendance at the meeting.
