UDHAMPUR, JANUARY 25: Government Degree College Neeli Nallah Udhampur celebrated National Voter’s Day.
On the occasion, a pledge was taken by the Principal, staff members and students of the College followed by an Essay Writing Competition in which about 10 students participated. Ms Vaishali Sharma, Bharti Slathia and Heena Akhtar students of Semester 1st secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Hans Raj, Principal of the college, impressed on the students and staff to elect their representatives by exercising the Power of Vote without taking into concentration Caste, Creed and Colour, for the better development of the Nation.
