JAMMU: Career Counseling and Placement Cell of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt. College for Women Gandhinagar Jammu in Collaboration with VLCC Training Institute of Beauty & Nutrition organised Seminar cum workshop on Career Opportunities in Beauty Industry; Personal Grooming during Interviews and Personality Development on 16th of Feb. 2023 in Smart Classroom of the College.
The Programme started with the formal welcome of the Chief Guest Prof. Minu Mahajan, worthy Principal of the College and Resource Persons Ms. Khushi Punj , Business Partner with VLCC Ms. Khushi Rally, the Skin Trainer, Ms.Mamta, Make-up Trainer and team of experts.
Prof. Minu Mahajan, encouraged the girl students to be future Entrepreneurs, to break social taboos and fly high in the open sky of ambitions and quoted " Going up the Hill is difficult but view from there is always beautiful".
Ms. Khushi Punj, in her presentation talked about conventional & non- conventional careers , various placement opportunities in this field in India and Abroad. She also stressed upon the courses offered by the VLCC Training Institute in Beauty Industry.
Ms.Khushi Rally and Ms.Mamta conducted the demonstration session for a daily make-up look and interacted with the students , cleared their doubts and provided make up tips.
The Proceedings of programme were conducted by Prof. Sugandha and concluded with the formal Vote of thanks by Prof. Malti.
The whole programme was coordinated by Prof. Rajni Kumari, Convener Career Counseling Cell and members - Prof.Renu Rajput , Prof. Rajinder and Prof Suman Bala.
