SAMBA, FEBRUARY 01: Continuing the onslaught against influential encroachers, District Administration Samba on Wednesday conducted a massive anti-encroachment drive to vacate prime state land at Ghagore, Vijaypur .
Around 14 kanal 10 Marlas of prime state land under the occupation of an Ex minister’s father was retrieved. The outer wall of the premises which had been constructed on land was demolished.
Sign board indicating the status of land as government land was installed on the site.
A Revenue officer said that on the express directions of Deputy Commissioner Samba, encroachments by influential encroachers are being identified removed. He said that several such influential encroachers have been identified and the drive will continue.
