RAJOURI, JUNE 15: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the status of under construction Government Degree College Buildings.
The meeting reviewed the progress of work on buildings for GDC Darhal; GDC Doongi and GDC Koteranka.
Detailed deliberations were held on the issues and the DC asked the concerned officers to work in close coordination to resolve the issues which are hampering the construction work at the earliest.
He underlined the need for early construction of GDC buildings for the development of the education sector in the region. “The timely completion of the construction work is necessary to provide the students with the requisite infrastructure and facilities for pursuing higher education,” he added.
Officers who attended the meeting were ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; SDM Thanamandi; Shafeeq Mir; Principals of GDCs; EXEN PWD (R&B) Rajouri, Sardar Khan and other concerned officers.
