DODA, JUNE 14: In a collaborative effort between the District Institute of Education Research & Training (DIET) and the Pratham Education Foundation, an exciting Zonal Level Exhibition was organized here today. The exhibition showcased a wide range of Teaching Learning Materials (TLM), Models, Toys, and Puppet Shows across all 10 Educational Zones.
The primary objective of this event was to promote foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) among grade children by creating visually appealing and engaging TLM. With a focus on blended learning, teachers from various schools in District Doda came together to prepare colorful and attractive TLM. These materials aimed to enhance the learning experience for children, ensuring they gain a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy.
The exhibition featured multiple stalls, each dedicated to displaying TLM, Models, and Toys. The purpose of these stalls was to align with the goals of the NIPUN BHARAT initiative, which emphasizes the importance of foundational skills in children. By providing hands-on experiences and interactive displays, the exhibition aimed to foster a love for learning while strengthening fundamental knowledge.
Through this collaborative effort, DIET Doda and Pratham Education Foundation hoped to create an enabling environment for the holistic development of children. By showcasing innovative teaching tools and resources, the exhibition aimed to inspire educators and encourage the implementation of effective teaching practices. Ultimately, the goal was to ensure that every child in District Doda receives quality education, setting them on a path to success in their academic journey.
