REASI, JULY 21: NSS Unit of Government General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College Reasi on Friday organised a cleanliness drive at Sulla Park.
As many as 35 NSS volunteers of the college participated in the cleanliness drive organised at Sulla Park under the supervision of NSS Programme Officer, Prof. Ajay Kumar and cleaned the area near the Bowley.
Later, they also visited the office of the Range Officer Soil Reasi and collected plants under the Meri Mati Mera Desh Programme which will be planted on 26th July, 2023 in different locations to mark Kargil Diwas.
Meri Mati Mera Desh is a nationwide campaign of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Sports under which NSS volunteers have to plant at least 75 saplings on 26th July, 2023. The volunteers were highly enthusiastic for the campaign and started preparation with full enthusiasm and zeal.
