President Biden and Harris Lead 9/11 Memorial Ceremony in New York City

NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER, 11:  Americans across the country honored the victims and heroes of the World Trade Center terrorist attacks on Monday, marking the 22nd anniversary of the tragedy.

In New York City, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris led a memorial ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. The ceremony began with a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. Eastern Time, the time when the first plane struck the World Trade Center.
