Vigorous demonstration against PDD department in Bhagwati nagar

Jammu, Sep 4 : On the instructions of Hindustan Shiv Sena State President Vikrant Kapoor, Shiv Sena workers have opened a front against the government for huge electricity bills after installation of smart meters. In this series, on behalf of the Jammu city unit of Hindustan Shiv Sena, a vigorous demonstration was held against Smart Meter , Property tax, Saror Toll plaza in Bhagwati nagar Jammu today. The protest was led by City President Appurav Gupta and Vice President Rohan Malwal, while Women’s Wing President Diksha Malwal and Vice President Vishali Gupta also participated in the protest along with their supporters in large numbers.

During this, while addressing the protesters, these leaders said that the people were assured by the Electricity Department that there would be no difference in the electricity bills after the installation of smart meters. But the way huge electricity bills are being handed over to the people, there is a lot of resentment among the people. They said that on the instructions of its State President Vikrant Kapoor, Hindustan Shiv Sena has decided to open a front against the government by coming on the streets to solve this problem of the people. That’s why protests are being held today so that the eyes of the government can be opened. They expressed anger by raising slogans against the Electricity Department, BJP’s central government and the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor’s administration. They also asked the BJP leaders why they are keeping silence in this matter. They alleged that the BJP government is completely against the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They said that ever since the BJP government came to power at the Centre, the common people of Jammu and Kashmir are in a bad condition. People are also deprived of Basic facilities like electricity and water. They said that such a government has no right to remain in power. People want them to oust the BJP from power in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
They said that ever since the BJP government came to power at the Centre, the BJP has made Jammu and Kashmir a laboratory. Before starting any scheme in the country, it is trialled in Jammu and Kashmir. They said that today people are worried about the electricity bills coming from smart meters. They alleged that no state in the country has such smart meters, but the BJP government at the Center has started its trial from Jammu and Kashmir. They said that due to the wrong decision of the government, now the electricity bills have troubled the poor people. The one who used to get a bill of five hundred rupees earlier, is now getting a bill of five thousand rupees. They warned that if this problem of the people is not resolved at the earliest, a big agitation will be organized in the coming days.
