KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 30: A group of 34 School girls from Government Higher Secondary School of the Aspirational Block Marwah recently culminated in their two-day Educational Exposure Tour to Jammu.
An engaging interaction was arranged here at the DC Office Complex Kishtwar and the session saw the spirited involvement of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav, among other distinguished officers.
During the lively exchange, the DC extended his felicitations to the girl students and expressed keen interest in understanding the enriching experiences garnered during their educational expedition.
The girls, representing grades 9th to 12th from the remote area of Aspiration Block Marwah, enthusiastically shared their firsthand encounters from the Educational Exposure Tour. Their accounts revealed valuable engagements with prominent officers including Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department; SSP, ACB & Cyber Crime; DG Treasures; Special Secretary to Govt. and insightful visits to Civil Secretariat, Legislative Assembly, Fish Aquarium, Wave Mall Jammu, Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School Jammu.
Expressing their thoughts, the students highlighted how this transformative journey immensely broadened their perspectives on the importance of education, especially for the womenfolk, aligning seamlessly with the principles of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan under the Department of Social Welfare.
During the interactive session at district headquarters, the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav, alongside officers like DSWO Zubair Ahmed Lone and CEO Kishtwar Prehlad Bhagat conveyed their best wishes for the students’ future endeavors. They assured unwavering support through Educational counseling and financial aid via tailored scholarship programs designed for the Aspiration Blocks initiative, reinforcing the commitment to bolster education in the region.
The core purpose of the inspiring Tour was to ignite and nurture aspirations among these young minds, underlined by the interaction with the distinguished Officers and dignitaries of UT and Educational institutions and Heritage sites.
