RAMBAN, JANUARY 19: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary today chaired a meeting of officers to review progress and achievements made under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district.
Reviewing department and sector-wise progress, Choudhary underscored the paramount significance of the ongoing Kisan Sampark Abhiyan, phase-II. He emphasized that this initiative serves as a pivotal platform to foster a robust connection with farmers, acting as a conduit for impactful engagement across all sectors.
Articulating the pivotal role of HADP in establishing a resilient and profitable agricultural ecosystem, the Deputy Commissioner directed the attention of bank functionaries towards expediting loan processes. Recognizing the instrumental role of financial support for local farmers, he urged banks to play a proactive role in facilitating these crucial resources.
Furthermore, Choudhary called upon departmental officers to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of HADP at the ground level. The objective is to ensure that the benefits of this comprehensive program permeate through to the farming community, enhancing their livelihoods and overall well-being.
Highlighting the urgency of prompt approval of loans under allied department schemes, the Deputy Commissioner’s emphasis on expeditious loan sanctioning reflects a proactive approach aimed at meeting farmers’ financial needs and elevating their socio-economic standing.
During the meeting, departments presented a comprehensive overview of their achievements, detailed aspects such as plan implementation, beneficiary approvals, pendency, banking connections, convergence of activities, and processing of applications.
